How many days until an exam, a wedding or a trip? How many working days are in a notice period or a project? When does a 90-day warranty or visa end? Counting on a calendar is slow and error-prone, especially across months of different lengths and leap years. This calculator gives the answer instantly and also counts working days.
How to use the calculator
- Pick a start date and an end date.
- Tick Include the end date if both the first and last day should count, such as for a leave period or an event.
- Read the total days, weeks, working days and weekend days.
- In the second section, enter a date and a number of days to find a future or past date. Tick Count working days only to skip Saturdays and Sundays.
Should the end date be included?
By default, the calculator counts the number of days from one date to another, which is what most people mean by "how many days until". From 1 March to 3 March is 2 days. When you count days of an activity, like a leave from 1 March to 3 March, both days are used, so the answer is 3 days: tick the option.
How working days are counted
Working days are Monday to Friday. Public holidays differ by country, state and company, so they are not removed automatically. Subtract your holidays from the working-day total yourself. For example, if there are 22 working days in a month and 2 public holidays, there are 20 actual working days.

- Notice period: 90 days from 24 October 2026 is 22 January 2027.
- Payment terms: "Net 30" means payment is due 30 days after the invoice date.
- Pregnancy and medicine schedules: count days and weeks precisely from a start date.
