Clean up lists in seconds
Lists collected from different sources almost always contain repeats: email lists merged from two spreadsheets, keyword lists from several research tools, product codes, phone numbers or names typed by different people. Sending the same email twice or counting a customer twice looks unprofessional and skews your numbers. This tool removes every repeated line and keeps the first copy of each item in its original order.
How to remove duplicates
- Paste your list with one item per line. Copying a column from Excel or Google Sheets works perfectly.
- Choose the options. By default, "Asha@gmail.com" and "asha@gmail.com " with a stray space count as the same item.
- Copy the clean list. The counters show how many duplicates were removed.
Options explained
- Ignore upper/lower case: treats "Pune" and "pune" as duplicates. Turn it off for case-sensitive data such as passwords or codes.
- Ignore spaces at start/end: catches items that differ only by invisible spaces, a very common problem with copied data.
- Remove empty lines: drops blank rows from the result.
- Sort A–Z: sorts the cleaned list using natural order, so "item 2" comes before "item 10".
- Show only the duplicates: lists just the items that appeared more than once, which helps you find data-entry mistakes.
Example
A list of eight email lines containing the same three addresses in different cases and spacing becomes four unique addresses. That is exactly what you want before importing contacts into a mailing tool, which may otherwise charge you for duplicate subscribers.

Can I remove duplicate words inside a sentence?
